Testing for the 34th Caravan Club Towcar of the Year Competition took place during August at the Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire, where a wide cross section of vehicles from leading car manufacturers were put rigorously through their paces by an independent panel of driving judges over a four-day period.

Bailey caravans and motorhomes have received positive recognition in the UK’s largest ever customer survey on buying and owning a leisure vehicle. The Leisure Vehicle Survey was commissioned by The Caravan Club and contains the feedback of 40,000 caravan and motorhome owners on their leisure vehicle, the manufacturers who built them and the retailers who supplied them.

Bailey of Bristol has opened its doors again to the Bailey Owners’ Club (BOC) for their biennial Works Rally held earlier this month. Over 150 outfits from all over the UK, including a record number of motorhomes, took part in this year’s event held at Dyrham Park near Bath.

The Bailey Pegasus Ancona has won Practical Caravan Magazine’s ‘Best Tourer for Small Families’ title for the second consecutive year.

As reigning champion in this category, it was benchmarked against the crop of new 2017 models from rival manufacturers and once again was voted best in class by the UK’s top-selling caravanning publication.
