The Bailey Owners’ Caravan Club has rebranded itself as The Bailey Owners Club (BOC) following the company’s successful expansion into the motorhome market.

With one in five vehicles leaving the South Liberty Lane production facility in Bristol now being a motorhome the Club felt the time was right to recognise this significant change in the direction of the business by ensuring it continues to appeal the owners of all kinds of Bailey leisure vehicle.

The Bailey Owners’ Club is a fully independent organisation which looks to help people get the best use from their Bailey caravan or motorhome. Run by a team of volunteers, and with support from Bailey of Bristol, it has been established for over forty five years and includes members from all over the globe, with a dedicated ‘Little Bees’ section for the younger members of the family.

There are plenty of good reasons to join, such as low-cost weekend events and rallies throughout the UK, often at exclusive venues or themed around fun or informative activities, plus longer holidays both home and abroad.

Other benefits include a unique opportunity to tour the Bailey factory to see where and how your vehicle was manufactured and to meet the people who made it, plus exclusive member offers including discounts from selected retailers and insurance companies.

To celebrate this new chapter of its history, the new BOC is launching a special competition open to anyone who owns a Bailey caravan or motorhome and visits its desk on the Bailey of Bristol stand (Hall 2) at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show at the NEC, Birmingham from 23 to 28 February 2016.

The first prize in the competition is seven nights at a choice of three or four-star Camp’Atlantique campsites in France for a car and caravan, or motorhome, and two adults on a full-service pitch with electric hook-up, plus a DFDS Seaways ferry crossing from Dover to Calais or Dunkirk.

The second prize is seven nights at the luxurious Lakeside Touring Park in Lincolnshire, part of the Don Amott Parks group, with a full range of facilities including a heated pool complex, bar, restaurant and cabaret room.

There are three third prizes of VIP tours of the Bailey production facility in Bristol for two people, including lunch with the Directors.

Jeff Tallis, the Chairman of the Bailey Owners Club said: “We are very proud of our 45 year heritage and during that period hopefully we’ve helped a great many people get the best out of their Bailey caravan. However we need to be forward-thinking and with the changes going on in Bristol we wanted to become a more inclusive organisation in order that we can broaden our appeal to as many Bailey caravan or motorhome as possible”.
